We arrived from Delhi, where we had spent 10 busy days. Kathmandu was unusually clear as we flew in, and the Himalayas had been laid out for us to enjoy.
We stayed in the KBI guesthouse in Jorpati, next to the Nepal Orthopaedic hospital and the SOS Village.
On the first day of the Festival of Tihaar, the way for Laxmi (goddess of prosperity) to enter the house is lit and decorations are placed to tempt her in.
We were well entertained.
